DECEMBER
Here are some highlights from our December 2010:

On December 2nd Drake turned 4 months. His stats were:
Weight - 19lbs. 1 oz. - 97%
Height - 26 1/2 inches - 90%
Head circumf. - 43 cent. - 65%
What's up!!

This is the Sunday before Christmas. I LOVE that my girls still like to wear matching dresses. We don't do it too often, (Payton just informed me she doesn't like it, who taught her to read?) but they look so cute! Now that Drake's here he'll coordinate. I should be getting good at vests and ties in the next couple of years. And no, I did not make the dresses, but I could have. (that last part was for Dave)

Here's Drake and Emmett. Family was over and these two were sacked out on the couch. They are only 9 weeks apart, I think Drake can take him.

Grandma Walker, Payton, Fallyn, and I headed up to Placer High to see Placer Theatre's Nutcracker. Fallyn's best friend was a Bon Bon this year and it was fun to see her and give her flowers. We also got to inspect a ballerina's tutu to see how it stayed up and level. Payton says: It was really fun!

And this is a random picture of Fallyn I found on my camera. I just had to share!

Nope, not Halloween!

So I made a mistake of words this morning (11/18) with Mayce. It was her Thanksgiving Feast at school and I asked her if she wanted to dress up for the occasion. I meant a nice dress or something. However, Mayce only heard the words "dress up" and the battle ensued. She really wanted to wear her Halloween costume but we settled on this. It could be a little pilgrimish. And as for Drake - Cami tried to warn me that boys are a little rougher with the #2's than girls and he has proven her correct. Every other day he ends up in a back up outfit. His Halloween costume was the back up in the diaper bag that day. So two of my four wonderful children ended the day in costumes. Just call me Wonder Mom!

I'm back, again!! Here's a recap of the last 6 months. I'd say a lot has happened and here's the biggest event:

He's here!!
Drake was born August 2nd at 11:43pm. It was drama for the week leading up to him. I was hoping to be induced at 38 weeks like I was with Mayce but an ultrasound showed him to be about 6 lbs at the 38 wk mark. So we decided to induce at 40 weeks. The morning I was supposed to be induced I called the hospital to double check and they didn't know anything about it. Since I was in tears the nurse said she'd call my doctor and get back to me. He called about an hour later and said to go in. Thank goodness, I was ready to have my baby!! We started poticin at about 9am and I had him 14 hours later. (It took 29 hours with Fallyn, but only 11 with Mayce.) I didn't have to push too long, so Drake ranks #2 in the best deliveries. (But so far he's #1 in the baby behavior department) Since we didn't know he was going to be a he, we were not prepared. He's currently sleeping in a hot pink room with flowers and girly insects on the walls. Another project! So - he was 9 lbs. 8 oz. I think the ultrasound was a little off. That put him at #3 in the heaviest dept. But all that seems like forever ago because I'll tell you what - 4 kids is a lot to handle! We are managing. Luckily we have so much family around and they can rescue me at a moments notice. So, here are some photos, and more to come!

Halloween 2010

Halloween has been pretty much the only time I pull out my sewing machine these days. Each year after their costumes I remember how much I love to sew and vow to do more. This year is the same. I have a huge list that I hope to complete by the year's end. Ask me about it and maybe I'll be guilted into actually getting some things done. (Sorry there's no pictures of Drake, he was a skeleton courtesy of Old Navy.)

October 2010
Payton and Fallyn played hooky from school for a day and we made a quick trip to the coast. We camped in the motor home. The convenience was nice but all the kids wanted to do was watch movies inside. We did allow a church DVD that had "Johnny Lingo" on it, among others. It was fun watching that again. The girls had so many questions, they just had a hard time accepting the premise. Dave and I enjoyed explaining it to them.

In October Payton received one of the awards for the character of the month. We are so proud of her, she is a very dedicated student and a great friend.

Our neighbor had an "Alice in Wonderland" themed birthday party and my girls went as the singing flowers. Fallyn really wanted to be the bread that was a butterfly but it was a month after Drake was born so I needed to keep it simple. I appreciate that my girls are happy with whatever. I'm very lucky!

Just because!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY FALLYN!!
My #2 turned 6 on May 21st! We went to a River Cats game that night and they put her birthday on one of the light up sign things. That was exciting for her to see. Fallyn is so sweet to others in need, she loves her friends, and is eager to try new things. She was our surprise but I cannot even imagine my world without her. I love Fallyn!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PAYTON!!
My first born tuned 7 on the 29th of April. She is so awesome. She loves to read, loves sports, playing on the computer, and is always willing to help me and her sisters. We are so lucky to have her in our family. She was a long time coming, but worth the wait!

APRIL

The second week of Spring Break the girls, my Mom, and I loaded up Rocket and made the drive to Utah. It was crazy snowy but we made it. We visited Temple Square, The Museum of Church History and Art, and the Pioneer Log Cabin.

In the Museum of Church History and Art they had an "I Am A Child Of God Exhibit" where there were lots of interactive things to do. Here are my angels and Mary.

Dave flew out for the weekend to celebrate Easter with us. The girls had fun spending time with Maya.

There was a little snow and they used most of it to make this snowman. Thanks uncle Jake for helping them!

The girls also had their annual Jog-a-Thon in April. Fallyn missed her goal by one lap. She was devastated so we went out for ice cream after school. She officially did 14 laps. (I think in reality she did more though. There were two times I had to stop her to get her bracelet marked because she forgot to check in and get counted.)

I missed Payton's run, I had the time wrong, but she did 24 laps. Wow!! (Thanks to friends for the pictures!)
MARCH

I guess it was a slow month of March. Dave and I went down to San Fransisco to see Wicked (again - yea!!) with some friends. This time we saw the matinee, which was wonderful. But I think the evening show had a better energy. No complaining, Wicked is wonderful!

(Dave said this was the last time I could wear my fun red jacket. Did I mention I'm pregnant. Yep, here we go again. I'm due August 1st, and we didn't find out the sex. The girls are hoping for a girl so they don't have to give up their toy room. Nice!)

FEBRUARY

The girls and I went to see The Wizard of Oz at our local theatre. Payton and Fallyn loved it, Mayce loved the first half and then she was done. It was fun for all of us!

Fallyn was awarded a "Character Counts" award. We are so proud of her and what a great student and friend she is!

This picture was taken on February 13th. Dave was doing yard work and while he was hosing down the driveway the girls put their suits on and enjoyed trying not to get sprayed by Dave with the hose. We had lots of comments from neighbors Monday at school. What can I say? Corbridge Party Girls!

And of course another play. This one had a written script. My little playwrights!
